Located at 68 Mt. Pleasant Avenue in the North Ward, Newark Genesis Apartments was the first new construction of its kind in the neighborhood. The project consists of 51 apartments for low and moderate income families with 15 apartment’s set-aside for formerly homeless individuals living with HIV/AIDS. HELP collaborates with Broadway Housing for Continuing Care (“Broadway House”) to refer and provide services to the HIV/AIDS tenants. All services are on-site and free.
